Loida Abraham is a senior insurance executive with over 30 years in the Long Term Care Insurance industry. She helped to build the John Hancock LTC business to over $1.5 billion in annual premium by introducing many industry firsts such as Shared Care, Custom Care and CPI hedging and by expanding distribution. She broadened her knowledge of the industry when she joined Swiss Re and later as Managing Actuary of LTC for Genworth where she was responsible for all actuarial functions from pricing to reserving.

Over her career, she has demonstrated strength in finance, innovation, broad and strategic thinking, as well as effective partnering with distribution. She was an early leader and frequent speaker at Long Term Care conferences, and today she is well known and well respected throughout the industry.

She continues to be passionate about finding solutions to the long term care financing dilemma not only for the elderly of today but also for that of tomorrow.
