Sarah Savoia

Clinical Consultant

Sarah Savoia is an Assistant Professor at the Glenn Biggs Institute for Alzheimer’s & Neurodegenerative Diseases at UT Health San Antonio. She is a graduate from the Yale School of Medicine Physician Associate Program. During her training, she developed a passion for cognition and cognitive disorders when working on her master’s thesis proposal that evaluated the effects of a non-pharmacological treatment in Vascular Dementia. Her prior interests included mood disorders when working as a Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor for AmeriCorps. Her research interests include cognitive dysfunction due to neurodegenerative diseases and technology for transforming care management.

Amicus Brain was honored to join the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Sunday, October 5th, standing alongside thousands of advocates committed to raising awareness, hope, and support for families affected by Alzheimer’s.
