Sree is highly skilled in developing machine learning models and statistical techniques for identifying patterns and extracting valuable insights from structured and unstructured data. She has over 13 years of experience in the field of Cognitive and Advanced Analytics, having worked with a variety of clients in Singapore, USA and India.
Some of her notable contributions include: developing a scoring algorithm to rank customer’s satisfaction with products in multiple sectors for a Consumer Intelligence firm in Singapore; leading a team of analysts to develop a targeted marketing strategy using predictive modeling and building an econometric sales forecasting model for a fortune 100 grocery retail company in USA.

In Sree’s most recent role with the Cognitive Analytics team of IBM in India, she worked extensively with machine learning techniques and natural language processing using Python and Watson APIs. She addressed wide ranging problems such as extracting insights from unstructured data to build an Advisor Solution for service engineers, building an event recommendation engine for customers related to their fitness profiles, developing a predictive model to evaluate and manage credit risk for a banking client and developing an asset for the wealth management domain that provides deep customer insights.

Sree is very passionate about education and has developed a keen interest in teaching right from her high school days where she taught primary school kids Science and Mathematics. While she was pursuing Masters at Loyola University – Chicago, she tutored Maths and Statistics to undergraduate students. During her stay in South Africa, she volunteered at the Akani Metmar School, teaching Mathematics and English and was also part of their after-school-care-program which was directed towards helping at-risk kids.

Sree has a dual Masters Degree in Statistics and Applied Statistics from Bangalore University, India and Loyola University Chicago, USA and a certificate course in management from Wits Business School, Johannesburg.
